Root Canal Therapy
When the dental pulp inside of a tooth becoms damaged, infected or injured, it may be necessary for a root canal procedure in order to save the tooth.
During a root canal procedure (endodentic treatment) the dentist will remove the dental pulp (nerve tissue) in the tooth and restore the tooth with a filling or crown. This is possible without having to extract the tooth and will often be the best long term solution as it restores the damaged tooth.
If you have a tooth that is injured or causing pain, Dr. Thiessen and the staff at Prairie Life Dental can ensure you get the best treatment for your specific needs.
