Dr. Joe Thiessen, a graduate of Winnipeg’s faculty of Dentistry in May 2012, has been a trusted dental practitioner in the Westman area for over a decade. Throughout his eleven-year journey, he has consistently elevated his clinical skills and patient care. Dr. Thiessen’s commitment to excellence extends to advanced training in orthodontics, dental implants, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and he is proud to offer state-of-the-art Invisalign treatment.

Dr. Bhuvan Aggarwal

Meet Dr. Bhuvan Aggarwal, a compassionate and dedicated dental professional committed to providing personalized, high-quality care. Known as Dr. A in the clinic, he is recognized for his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and gentle approach, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental visits.

Dr. A completed his Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude, before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Manitoba. During his dental training, he was honored with prosthodontic awards recognizing his dedication to excellence in restorative dentistry.
Dr. A has a passion for restorative, surgical, and preventive dentistry. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients through open communication, education, and personalized treatment. His goal is to help every patient achieve a healthy, functional, and confident smile.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. A enjoys giving back through dental outreach and has participated in a mission trip to Ecuador, providing care to communities with limited access to dental services. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys staying active at the gym, playing basketball, and spending time with his dog.

Dr. Shivani Bharkhada

Meet Dr. Shivani Bharkhada, a dedicated dentist committed to delivering gentle, patient-centered care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She strives to ensure that every patient feels at ease and confident throughout their dental experience.
Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. Bharkhada earned her dental degree with honours (Cum Laude) from the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 2019. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine equivalency at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, in 2025.

Dr. Bharkhada is known for her compassionate and attentive approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s needs while prioritizing patient education so they can fully understand their treatment options and feel confident in their care. Many of her patients refer to her as “Dr. B,” reflecting the friendly and approachable relationships she builds in her practice. Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry, oral diagnosis and treatment planning, and oral surgery.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bharkhada enjoys painting, baking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her dog, Brew. She is passionate about making every visit a comfortable experience and loves seeing the confidence that comes with a healthy, beautiful smile.
